I come up with topics from everyday life. I have a weird view of the world. Sometimes it's pretty cool what God shows me, other times it's pretty dumb what I am seeing myself. You decide.

Laws
There are many laws around, don't drive to fast, don't steal things, don't cheat on your income taxes or your tests at school, don't just start pounding the guy next to you just because he is wearing the other teams logo. ..............you know Laws. God has Laws also, you know, the 10 Commandments. Most of our (humans) laws are based on these commandments.
Did you know there were more laws? "No, not MORE laws?" Yes more laws, but we take them for granted, they have NEVER been broken we could not break them if we tried really hard. What "Laws" am I talking about? Laws like; Gravity, friction, centrifugal force, effects of motion, you know, all those laws that Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory" rattles off all the time. What happens if you plant a pecan in the ground, water it, and take care of the little plant that grows up? You will eventually get a pecan tree, why? Laws of nature, there is NO way NOT to get a pecan tree if you do these things. Plant an orange seed, and you will NOT get a apple tree, no matter how much you may try, it's a law.
When God created everything, He made many laws that had to be followed in order for everything to work the way He wanted it to. He placed the Earth in an orbit just the perfect distance from the Sun to give us perfect weather that we, humans could live in, He placed the Moon exactly were it needed to be for tides on the Earth. (Also the Moon is a pretty neat night light, and very beautiful) He gave the Earth a little tilt so that we would have seasons, and the plants would go through their cycles. Where all these "Laws"? Yes, I think so. He made all these things happen once, and then they will continue to happen until He says to stop. The Earth has no choice but to travel around the Sun, and take 365 1/4 days to do it. God set this all in motion and "It was So".
Then God made Man. He took His time forming him out of clay, making him in His image, breathing life into Adam, the first man. Then God made a law for man. "Do NOT eat of the fruit of knowledge, or you will surely Die" That was it, the only law God gave Adam and Eve, just that one. BUT God gave mankind "free choice", so we could obey Him, or not, that was up to US.
Sure, God could have MADE laws for humans the same way He did for nature. This is the way things are going to work, and that is the end of that. You see, He is GOD, He can do whatever He wishes. But God wanted humanity to CHOOSE to live with Him, He wanted mankind to Love Him, for all He has, is , going to do for us. He did not want a robot that would follow His orders without question, but a friend that would walk, talk and love HIM>
There are "Laws" in the world, some for our safety, some are kinda dumb,(I have heard there are still laws on the books like carrying a pair of wire cutters in certain towns could land you in jail, and things like that, wither that is true or just a rumor , who knows, but it is pretty weird) The laws of nature, physics, science, math, ........are all things that mankind has figured out by ourselves. IE: if you do this, this will happen. But the Laws of God, (10 Commandments) are there for us to choose or not. There is NO MUST here. There is a reward for obeying them, and a punishment for not, but it is our choice. Joshua had a choice as to who he would serve, like all of us and he made a bold statement.
Joshua 24:15
New Living Translation (NLT)
15 But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”
The choice is ours, we decide which laws we are going to obey, and which we are going to ignore. If we disobey mans laws then we will go to jail. If we disobey God's laws we will be in the lake of fire forever with Satan.
Trying to break the law of gravity will have bad results, it cannot be done, unless your in space, try and breaking the law of friction , go ahead push that 10,000 pound rock down the street, I dare you, can't be done, at least by yourself don't care how strong you are. God placed these Laws in place for a reason, they will never be broken until they are not needed anymore. Drive 100 miles an hour down the interstate, see what happens, run over a pedestrian in a cross walk, see where you end up. These are man's laws, based on God's laws and they are there for all of our safety. But turn away from God's desire for you to KNOW HIM, like a friend, or a brother that He sticks closer then and it's your choice. Nothing will happen to you in this world, but will in the next.
"Laws" are they made to be broken? No, there good for us. God set laws into place, because He loves us, just look at nature and see the many things that have to happen just for one plant to grow, and yet we are fed by Billions, Trillions, of these plants every year. Because of the way God made this planet. Don't you see? He loves us SO much, that He is willing to let us destroy ourselves if that is the choice we make. He doesn't want ANY to perish,,but He will let us, unless WE make the choice to serve, love, and become his friends and family. Is this TRUE LOVE? Absoutley. God IS Love, by the way, He can do nothing else but love us.
Go out there, don't break any laws, and remember God's ways and Laws are always the best way.
